2023 Artist Choice

The Artist Choice award is the highest honor of our festival. Artists choose their favorite painting they have produced over the week to submit for judging by their peers. Artists vote on their favorite painting and are not allowed to vote for themselves. The 2023 winners are:

1. Cornet Blues by Marc Anderson, who won for the second year in a row

2. Winding Road by Suzie Baker

3. The Idarado Mine by Mat Barber Kennedy

All paintings were produced on-site in Telluride as part of the 20th annual Telluride Plein Air in summer 2023. Available paintings include a price, while sold paintings are labeled as such. Paintings are in the possession of the artist and can easily be shipped; purchasers cover the cost of shipping. Forty percent of sales benefit the Sheridan Arts Foundation.
